Feria de Malaga (The Malaga Fair) 2010 will be opened on the  La Malagueta beach of on Friday August 13 at 23:50, by singer Javier Ojeda.  Everyone will gather at the beaches to hear the Pregón de la Feria, the official speech that starts the festivities. The opening ceremony will be followed by  a fireworks display, the lighting of the Paseo del Parque and the beach concert of Miguel Boséof  at 24:00. For nine days the city of Málaga will be dedicated to the Feria de Málaga. Basically it is all about music and dance.

Throughout the duration of the fair there will be tons to do ALL day. No matter how old you are or what music you are interested in, there is something for everybody and there you won’t be getting much sleep. Everything starts at 9 every day and as one of the golden rules of the feria there is no time to end the party at night.

On the second day of the fair the city center is transformed with horses carrying people dressed in typical Andalucian costumes. The horses and horse-drawn carriages take Malagenians to the church (Santuario de Ntra. Sra. De La Victoria), where they attend a service and offer flowers to the patron saint of Málaga, the Virgen de la Victoria. This is a chance to see a beautiful display of horse-riding clothes and outfits, horse harnessing and the special andalusian costumes and dresses.

During the day the fair takes place in the Malaga’s Old Town “Feria de Día” and in the evening in the outskirts at The Palacia de Feria located south-west of the center “Real De La Feria” (the feria proper). Feria Real is a rather commercial theme park and mass entertainment. In contrast the fair in the city center is a wonderful an spontaneous gathering of thousands of people joining together to have fun.

Podczas piątkowej wizyty w Ronda odwiedziła najważniejsze miejsca, czyli Plaza de Torros (jedna z najstarszych hiszpańskich aren do walki z bykami), dom Jana Bosco (założyciel zakonu Salezjanów) oraz przepiękny zabytkowy most Tajo del Ronda. Spacerkiem wraz z córką przeszła stara cześć miasteczka.

Po długiej podroży i intensywnym zwiedzaniu nastał czas aby odetchnąć  i pójść  na plaże w Marbelli.

Dzisiaj pierwsza Dama USA zakończyła kilkudniową wizyta, w Marbelli skąd udała sie na spotkanie z Hiszpańska Rodzinę Królewską w letnim Pałacu Królewskim na Majorce. W godzinach wieczornych Michelle Obama wraz z osobami towarzyszącymi odleciała do USA.

Miguel Poveda concert in Teatro Cervantes took place on 12th July 2010 as a part of TERRAL summer festival 2010. Miguel Angel Poveda Leon born near Barcelona on February 13, 1973 is a famous Spanish flamenco singer, known by the stage name of Miguel Poveda. He performs the more orthodox styles of flamenco. He is one of the most promising and talented young singer around at the moment in Spain. Click below to watch the video.

Miguel Poveda’s career has not ceased to develop and dazzle since he won the Lámpara Minera award in 1993. The cantaor shows an unusual interest in opening up flamenco to other audiences through his constant experimentation, combining his art without reservations with other genres such as cinema (B. Luna’s The Tit and the Moon , C. Saura’s Fados, P. Almodóvar’s Broken Embraces…), theatre (C. Bieito’s version of Life is a Dream) and collaborations with artists of all kinds. This relationship with other creative spheres, his quality and versatility earned him the National Music Award in 2007 as best performer. He is now revising his musical career and presents Coplas del querer, Latin Grammy to the best flamenco record in 2009, where the cantaor revises classic coplas with modern arrangements.

A goal in the last minutes of the extra time gave the Spanish footballers  the championship of the world after a vibrant encounter in which the Dutch team.  Spain deserved the title, nobody can put it in doubt. Two years after winning the European title, the stylish Spaniards did even better. This was a physical test of attrition that sometimes turned dirty — a finals-record 13 yellow cards.
