BeBop Jazz Club in Malaga invites for concerts including: BAI KAMARA Jr, LITO BLUES BAND, DRY MARTINA, SUSANA RAYA, FREE SOUL BAND and more. The concerts take place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, every week. Doors open 22.00, concerts starts at 23.00. The admission is free except some special events.

Lou Reed recorded the album Berlin in 1973. It was a commercial failure. Over the next 33 years, he never performed the album live.
Staging Berlin has been discussed for over 30 years and in December of 2006 it became a reality. Berlin was said to be one of the most depressing albums ever made and as it was brought to life it was far from dismal. Using the divided city of Berlin as its backdrop the story of Caroline and her lovers is told through the emotive and provocative words of Lou Reed.
With performers like Fernando Saunders, Antony, Steve Hunter, Rob Wassermann, Rupert Christie and Sharon Jones, a seven piece orchestra and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus all working to create a captivating and enveloping world, Lou Reed is able to take the audience with him as he bares witness to Caroline’s self-destruction. Julian’s set design create the backdrop of a hotel with greenish walls and with Lola Schnabel’s films displaying the beauty and tragedy of the narrator’s leading lady (played by Emmanuelle Seigner) the experience is devastating and beautiful.

Macy Gray was late, most of the people left the Teatro Cervantes to get a drink but when they got back more than one hour later Macy gave a stunning concert and the audience got completely crazy. She came to Malaga after taking a break for more than four years to prove that she is still one of the most admired and original stars in the world pop scene.

Rafael Nadal finally beat Roger in the most anticipated Wimbledon tennis matches ever. In possibly the longest, most hard fought and entertaining All England Championship final of all time. The epic five-set victory, delayed and twice halted by rain, lasted almost seven hours – including nearly five hours of matchplay – and didn’t finish until 9.17. But the strain didn’t stop the new champion clambering over the commentary boxes and jumping into the royal box at his moment of victory to hug family and shake hands with Spanish royals.
