Paul Anka the legendary figure of popular music, now at 66, with 125 recordings and more than 15 million copies sold gave an electrifying performance at Teatro Cervantes in Malaga on 15th April 2008.
The Canadian singer, composer, arranger and actor Paul Anka, born Ottawa, Canada in 1941, is famous for his huge hits like “Diana”, “Put Your Head on My Shoulder”, “Lonely Boy”, “Having My Baby”, “Let Me Try again” or the legendary “My Way”, made famous by Frank Sinatra, “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” by Buddy Holly or “She’s a Lady” by Tom Jones.
MAY WAY album sees Anka moving into ballad territory, once more with big-band arrangements, and once again he chooses both the great songs that have stood out in his artistic career as well as other artists’ songs, which he interprets in his own way: “It’s my life” by Bon Jovi, “Hello” by Evanescence, “Waiting for a girl like” by Foreigner or “Heaven” by Brian Adams”.
