James Blunt gave up his job as a British army captain in Bosnia to dedicate himself to music. He moved to Los Angeles to record his debut album, Back to Bedlam (05), whose first single, “High”, not acclaimed by the media, caught the attention of Elton John, who invited him to play as a support act on his 2005 tour. The third single from this disk, “You’re Beautiful”, made him famous worldwide - eleven million copies sold and five nominations for Grammy awards - and he even snatched a number one place in the charts from none other than the mighty Coldplay.

Blunt returns to the stage with his tour of songs from his second album, All the lost souls, a brilliant disk in which he bares the deepest parts of his soul, a collection of songs about life and death which shows the great musical maturity that he has reached during the last three years. They are simple compositions with lyrics full of sensitivity and sweetness that are aimed straight at the heart - universal themes - “very personal, very private and, just because of that, very honest songs”, he says. They still have all the factors that have made him into a music phenomenon based on a paradox:the loneliness of so many in a world full of people.
